Aspire Beginnings
The Aspire Beginnings program provides the optimal balance between structured learning activities and purposeful play. While traditional academic subjects are introduced, the focus of this program is teaching the foundational skills of learning: language, social interaction, imitation, attending, joint attention and self-regulation. This program combines small group teaching, one-on-one time with our educators, and play-based learning activities that are relevant, hands-on and fun!
This program is ideal for students who are just getting started on their learning journey. With 1 educator for every 2 students our low-ratio groups create fun and stimulating learning environments for children aged 2-5.
What to expect:
The Aspire Beginnings program provides the optimal balance between structured learning activities and purposeful play. Through weekly-themed activities, students learn early academic skills (i.e. letters, numbers, shapes), language skills, fine motor and gross motor skills, social skills and more. Age appropriate circle time, art, music, recess and physical education activities keep the students learning and engaged.
Evidence-based ABA strategies are incorporated into the entire day and are used to optimize the learning environment and motivate the students.
The smaller-group ratio allows our educators to give each student the individualized guidance and support they need to flourish.
Students practice following a routine, learning within a group, being flexible, adapting to change and other skills that will prepare them for learning in more academic-focused settings. Students also develop simple self-compassion and mindfulness practices.
