Funding Options

Navigating funding options can be challenging. Our team will help you identify which funding options are available to you and how to make the most of them. Common funding sources include:

  • Ontario Autism Program
Children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by a qualified professional are eligible to receive services and support until the age of 18. OAP Funding can be used to purchase many of the services we offer at Aspire Academy and access other fully funded programs. Visit the Ontario Autism Program website for detailed information and registration through AccessOAP.
  • Third Party Insurance
Employer benefit packages often include coverage for psychological, psychotherapy, ABA, SLP and OT services that can be used to pay for services at Aspire Academy. We are happy to review these options with you.
  • Military Funding
Military families should start by contacting their Commanding Officer for more information about the funding available to them. Visit the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services – National Capital Region for more information and support.
  • Jordan's Principle
Jordan's Principle makes sure all First Nations children living in Canada can access the products, services and supports they need, when they need them. Funding can help with a wide range of health, social and educational needs, including the unique needs that First Nations Two-Spirit and LGBTQQIA children and youth and those with disabilities may have. Learn more about Jordan’s Principle here.
  • Child Disability Tax Credit
The disability tax credit (DTC) is a non-refundable tax credit that helps people with impairments, or their supporting family member, reduce the amount of income tax they may have to pay. Please seek the advice of a registered accountant to determine if you qualify
